Marianne, I am at a loss at how I exactly stumbled on your web-site, but grateful I did, I love your art, all the variations, your attitude, and your passion and dedication. Your task of a painting a day, has inspired me, and I will follow your progress. So strive on knowing you have effected at least one other artist in a positive manner.
Kind regards,
Jeanette

I love your work! I found you while looking for local artists. So refreshing to hear someone else articulate how I feel about art.

yeah. i have to agree with your view on “fine” (as well as several other points you make – what we surround our self with, and creating beauty from and with, what is around us, among them). i have a hard time with that “fine” label. one of the reasons Mail Art has attracted me so much in the last few years is because it brings art back to human beings and being human and the connecting of these creatures through art around the planet. i like that. and yeah, i like your 2010 ArtProject too. excellent.

I stumbled upon your site by accident ,you have some great stuff and you truly are inspirational,
i similary try to produce a piece on a regular (a week though – not daily!) in an attempt to utilise different mediums etc
Your comment about the snobbery within art and wanting to punch the person in the gallery really made me laugh, glad to see we are on the same wavelength

Hi Sid! Do you have a blog? I’d love to check out your work too! Daily art is a little strenuous, but I’m enjoying it and learning lots. I’m glad you can identify with that whole feeling! Art should be for everyone, so that always drives me nuts. Hope to see you around some more, I can always use feedback. Have a good one! -Marianne
